WELCOME to my psychotherapy practice! It is imperative that a client have confidence in, and feel comfortable with, his or her therapist. So, it might help you to learn a little about me. I am licensed in Colorado to treat both mental health and substance abuse issues. My treatment approach utilizes a variety of cognitive, behavioral and dynamic techniques, as indicated by your issues, personality and learning style. Homework assignments are often used; these may involve reading, writing or trying out new behaviors or specific techniques.
Most importantly, everything you discuss in my Centennial, CO office is confidential.
If you find yourself repeating destructive patterns of behavior, struggling with depression, anxiety or relationships, you just don’t feel like yourself, or it feels like everyone has the rule book except you, then psychotherapy can probably help you.
My style of therapy is casual, direct and interactive, yet non-judgmental. I see my function as that of a guide and resource, sometimes a questioner or challenger. I can not tell you what to do or believe, but I can provide information techniques and options to aid you in sorting through your issues and making important decisions and changes. In many cases, the client has the answer and may not be aware of it. Personal responsibility is at the core of my approach to helping you reach your therapy goals.
